Duties and classification
Duty depends on how the product is classified, and additional duties may apply by category and origin. A classification difference changes the landed cost more than a good price negotiation does. Your customs broker confirms it; we prepare the documentation so it matches what is actually inside the box.
If you sell on Amazon or retail
Labelling, codes and carton prep requirements are defined before production, not after. We close them with the factory from the start so the goods don't arrive and get rejected at receiving.

Do I need a customs broker in the United States?
In practice yes, for any commercial import: they file the entry and are responsible for the classification. We work with yours, or help you find one.
How long does shipping from China to the USA take?
To the west coast, roughly two to three weeks of sea transit; to the east coast, four or more. Air is days. Add production and clearance on top.
Can duties be reduced?
Legally, by reviewing the correct classification and, in some cases, adjusting the product's configuration or origin. What we never recommend is declaring a value other than the real one: the saving is small and the risk is enormous.
Can you prepare goods for Amazon FBA?
Yes: labelling, codes, cartons and receiving requirements are coordinated with the factory before production, which is when it's free.
